Un vol connaît un destin tragique : endommagé dans les airs, l'avion s'écrase sur une île perdue au large du pacifique. De ce terrible accident, 48 passagers échappent de peu à la mort. Dépourvus de tout, hommes et femmes sont livrés à eux-même... Certains devront se surpasser afin de survivre aux obstacles qui les attendent.
